Ashlee's "Boring" Sale Ends April 30!
Final Days to Save 30%

Thank You!
First of all, thank you! I truly appreciate all the ways you support me! Likes, comments and shares about my designs, sharing my 3rd Year Designaversary Giveaway, purchases (of course!), and general kindness on my recent Instagram and Facebook posts all really make me feel loved lately!
This month has just flown by (as usual, does that ever stop?) and I am happy to report that spring may have sprung here in Saskatchewan, Canada!
This morning, my son Remington was so excited to show us that all the snow was gone and my seedlings were taller! We started one tray of seedlings and I should have re-potted them because now they are growing into each other and I have no idea what to do. Pretty sure they are just going to die if I separate them now because the roots are growing through multiple little dirt pods.

I put some seeds in these little dirt disks and they should have been separated sooner and now I don’t know what to do.
Crochet Sale!
Let’s get back to crochet! Since the month of April is nearing its end we only have a few more days left in the “Boring” Sale (it’s simple, not boring).
No codes, just an automatic 30% off. You have to add the patterns to your cart to see the discount applied (and it doesn’t apply to eBooks since those are already discounted bundles).
Before checkout, please check that the automatic discount has been applied as expected!
The “Boring” Sale and the Grand Prize Contest both end at the same time, plus I’ll be publishing our new Celtic Knot square - so April 30 and May 1 are going to be busy for me!
Comfort Cat for me please
I’m highlighting Comfort Cat today because it’s been more than 2 weeks now since our black cat, Tiger has been home.
Tiger and Flippers were indoor/outdoor cats to help with the mice but the longest they usually stay away is 2 nights. Flippers, the orange cat, does seem to need extra comfort lately. The kids are taking it well. We have never had pets before so I wasn’t sure how they would react to noticing that Tiger hasn’t been home for awhile.
We haven’t completely given up hope here yet, but I am the big sob-baby and have cried a few times.

The Leaves Pattern
About a year ago, I created a custom pattern using marijuana leaves as the design element. I listed it on my website but not Ravelry or Etsy because I know it can be a political hot topic and I wanted to avoid drama.
It is legal here in Canada but I’ve still not tried it (I was a very unadventurous teenager lol).
I no longer sell any patterns through that PayPal widget on my website, so this pattern is simply unavailable now and I had kind of forgotten about it actually.
I saw a few requests in general-crochet groups for related patterns on 4/20 (April 20 has cannabis-oriented celebrations in the US and Canada) and I realized that there’s no sense in having this pattern “collect dust on my shelf” so I’ll be publishing it to Ravelry and Etsy soon.
Looking forward:
If it interests you to know, here's what I have been working on:
Patterns in testing: Persistent Blossoms, currently published in Crochet Now Issue 93 (mosaic version only, may create an interlocking version as well), Crochet Foundry’s 2023 Blog Hop is also a mosaic pattern in testers hands as we speak, Floral Weave (an interlocking pattern only at this point) is in testing, as soon as I send this newsletter I will send my testers a new Coffee Time Mug Wall Hanging
Videos in progress: tutorial on how to join the squares to make my February Knot Mini-Square bag, support videos for Persistent Blossoms and the Crochet Foundry freebie need to be edited, still only halfway through recording my Tunisian Mosaic CAL
New pattern, Seamless Footballs, will be published at the end of April. Available now! Read more: https://ashleeslint.com/2023/04/19/seamless-footballs-a-repeatable-interlocking-or-mosaic-crochet-pattern/
Patterns in creation stage: a series of baby blankets with a different letter of the alphabet on it, a cursive alphabet small enough to add into other projects, Celtic Wedding Knot Scarf/Wrap?, Magnetic Outcome. I can’t possibly list all the patterns I have in drafts because there’s just too many lol
Lots of patterns on my list to update with a solid mosaic option (instead of the interlocking mesh dots all over). Let me know if there's a pattern you'd like updated sooner rather than later.
Updating links: I’ve been replacing the linktr.ee/LFMandMosaic link with ashleeslint.com/link-in-bio on my website and YouTube and everywhere I can remember to update it, I’ve also been rewriting a lot of the descriptions and hashtags on my YouTube videos (updating their thumbnails is next), plus I’ve had to rework all my blog entries (spacing, links, etc.) after moving hosts. My website IS mostly functional at this point, but it’s still something I need to fix.
TL;DR
30% discount on all patterns ends at 11:59 pm CST April 30, 2023 (Ravelry is my preferred platform, but you can also use Etsy)
Grand Prize Contest closes at 11:59 pm CST April 30, 2023 (https://ashleeslint.com/2023/03/29/3rd-year-designaversary-celebration/)
May Knot in our 2023: A Year of Celtic Knots series will be published soon
My Looking Forward list seems to be about the same as from my last newsletter
