Where has the time gone?
Half of April is gone already and I’m still not done my bookkeeping and taxes. That was my big stress of this month and I’m not doing that well on getting it done.
After publishing April Dog and the Garden Mandala Crochet Binder printables (don’t forget to grab your freebie!) I’ve been busy creating a new CAL (it’s going to be a quick small project, of course I can squeeze it in…. I should crochet more than one sample… why not offer more than one yarn weight… oh, a support video would be good… better make it two… looks like I’ll have 5… well, that escalated quickly), marking down entries from the Bingo game, awarding prizes, drawing another dog square (sorry, testers, June Dog is not quite ready yet), and then we had a few personal ‘events’ as well (sewer backup, Mitch went out on a firefighter call to prepare the landing space for the STARS helicopter ambulance, and there was a book sale at a library one town over - yes, that was exciting for me lol).
Whew, that was quite the run-on sentence! Sorry about that, it’s just how my fast my thoughts go. ~shrug~

The Paw Purse CAL Announcement!
The most exciting this for this mid-month email has got to be my next Crochet-A-Long (CAL)! If you follow me on Instagram or Facebook or YouTube you’ve probably already seen this information. I also created an ‘event’ in my Facebook group today!
Officially, this CAL begins on April 19. It’s written up for both interlocking crochet and overlay mosaic crochet (like all my patterns) and I’ve also created two gauge options: fingering weight or worsted weight yarn. The stitches don’t change, but your choice of yarn will affect the finished size of your bag.
It’s just a small project but I’ve broken it into two parts for the purposes of this CAL because my support video for the interlocking crochet version got too long (I show you every stitch of the first 7 rows).
The mosaic support video is not as long but it shows a different way of doing the foundation and takes a closer look at how to get the seam to look good as we work in the round. Both colorwork techniques are made in the round like a tube.

First Bingo Winner
