February Knot, from 2023: A Year of Celtic Knots

February has a reputation for being all about hearts, so I was compelled to use hearts in this month’s square. This month’s knot looks like 4 big hearts formed from the two never-ending loops intertwined and then I added the inner minimalist heart loops to really drive home February’s love theme.

I noticed while crocheting the center-out overlay mosaic version of this square that the first few rounds made a nice design on their own. I recorded a full step-by-step walk-thru of the first 11 rounds to show off this accidental mini-square.

I didn’t want my interlocking crochet fans to feel left out so I created a small chart using the center design and added this BONUS mini-square pattern just after February Knot’s written pattern.

Last month I added a promotion to Ravelry that will automatically discount you the cost of “January Knot” if you decide to buy the full eBook afterwards. You can use January as a trial to see if you like my style. Originally I had set that promotion to end on January 31, 2023 but it makes more sense to me to have it running all year.

So, for all of 2023, anyone who purchases “January Knot” on Ravelry and then decides to upgrade to the full eBook, “2023: A Year of Celtic Knots” will be automatically discounted the cost of the individual square. This way you don’t have to pay for January twice!

Unfortunately, Etsy doesn’t have the same capabilities.

The eBook listing (on Ravelry or Etsy) still saves you 40% compared to buying each square individually. Currently it only has January Knot and February Knot but each month it will be updated to include the next square.
