New YouTube Tutorial
I-Cord Knitting Machine
New YouTube Video
I published a new video today. I am still working on the video showing how I joined the squares for the bag, but this video shows how I used this tiny knitting machine to make the I-Cord handles.
I also typed up a written explanation of using this 4-pin circular knitting machine!
If you subscribe to my YouTube channel and turn on the notifications (click the bell) you’ll be notified when I publish new videos or go live.
I did mention in the comments of this video that I used my February Knot Mini-square (center-out, mosaic crochet) for the squares in the bag.
You’ll need 10 squares total. I did 6 squares with white and multi-colored yarn, and 4 square where I switched the MC and CC so they are multi-colored and white. 😉
Featured Pattern
I’ve created a special promo code for my special newsletter subscribers! If you like this, I’ll do it more often.
In July, it will be the Blooming Owl Wall Hanging’s 2nd birthday! I’d love to share a few more featured photos of that design so I’m hoping to tempt you into creating it with this 60% discount code!
BLOOM
Even if you know you won’t finish it by July we’d be happy to see your progress!

I miss my brother-in-law’s pretty wall from when we lived there! I don’t have a nice photo corner in our house now.
You can enter the code “BLOOM” at checkout or you can use the links below to add the pattern and code to your cart all at once.
I prefer Ravelry but this promotion is applicable on Ravelry and Etsy. Offer ends 11:59pm CST May 31, 2023.
Looking Forward
I’m not sure anyone cares about my to-do list but in case you’re wondering what happens behind the scenes…
I have been updating my website as fast as I can. I’m so sorry that switching web hosts has caused some issues. I’ve been working on the most viewed pages first. Sometimes I can simply re-upload the media, other times I have to recreate it. The formatting is all over the place as well and always takes me longer than I think it should (hello, frustrated-Ashlee here, lol).
I’ve also been meaning to add time stamps to a few more of my YouTube tutorials. Some of the videos have them and some don’t yet. They all have subtitles finally! And a few need an updated thumbnail image. Definitely not a priority, but sometimes works hand in hand with my website updates.
The next YouTube video to go live will be Belle to Infinity. Technically you can already watch this one by going through my website. So it doesn’t really count in my mind. Therefore, the next video will hopefully be the tutorial on joining the February Knot Mini-Squares into a bag.
The next new pattern will be June Knot from the 2023: A Year of Celtic Knots series. I have about a dozen testers for this series and I’ve been crocheting each square as we go. The patterns for the whole year are done (and some of my testers are finished crocheting all 12 squares already!) I meant to crochet faster but I’ve been dealing with the computer a lot more than expected; as soon as I send this email I will get back to my interlocking version of June Knot and then hopefully tomorrow I’ll finish it and start the mosaic version.
I will also need to find time to get the rest of the Beloved Alphabet series of baby blankets drawn up and tested. I’ll need more volunteers to crochet and photograph their samples. I’m no longer doing the long application process because it did not help me weed out the people who were only interested in taking a free pattern and running away. Instead I will go back to individual conversations. Talk to me, tell me what you can do, convince me you know how to crochet and take pretty photos.
I appreciate all of you so much! The support you show me is mind-blowing at times! Please keep telling me what you like by sharing and commenting. 😁
